I when the music picks up suddenly, such a beautiful moment like Queen.
Definately sounds like some queen in there..good call. It’s probably not up for a grammy yet because of all the little whiney people getting on and complaining about stupid radiohead. Not that I don’t like them bcuz I love the 90’s, but the more idiotic people with no tatse for talent keep getting on and talking dumb crap, the less I like a band I once did. Seriously, How the HELL can you steal crescendo!
This song is incredibly remarkable. Parallels to 1984 and it’s relevance today are terrifying but oh so true. I adore Muse.

not the only things. the whole piano buildup is reminiscent of Queen, although that was probably thought up without any real thought about Queen.
Something that is absolutely unquestionably a Queen homage is the guitar lick at 2:40. It’s completely unlike anything else matt has ever played. My guess is that the band listened to the song at some point, thought it sounded a bit like queen and decided to go the whole way with crazy guitar/multitracked vocals.
