Hans Erik will be performing a live show at the Waltz Astoria in Queens, New York, Friday, March 12th at 10pm. Hans will be singing and performing his original songs on piano and guitar backed by friend and musical collaborator Erik Naslund on bass and backing vocals. Here are the details:

The Waltz Astoria is a unique performance space and artistic minded wine/desert bar located in a cozy European neighborhood that overlooks the city of Manhattan from across the East River. Since its opening in 2005, the Waltz Astoria has presented hundreds of shows ranging from Classical trios to hip hop and world music. Wednesday Night Open Mic is the longest and the most successful running open mic in Queens, drawing talent scouts citywide. We showcase some of the most entertaining local talents and touring artists; it is known for its eclectic but selective booking. Waltz was featured as Best of New York 2008 in New York Magazine.
Hans Erik has continued to play throughout New York City, recently performing at Googie’s Lounge above the Living Room in the lower east side of Manhattan on February 18th, 2010.
In the coming weeks Hans will be performing at The Rockwood Music Hall on March 21st as part of the Speech Level Singing showcase/Meet-up.
